MBA (Regular) Full-Time and Part-Time
A candidate seeking admission into the Masters of Business Administration Programme (regular), whether full-time or part-time,
must hold:
i) A First Class, a Second Class (Upper Division) or a good Second Class (Lower Division) Degree in Business Management or a related subject such as Accounting, Economics, Finance and Marketing of Bayero University, or any other recognized University (provided Bayero University matriculation requirement is satisfied).
ii) A Postgraduate Diploma in Management with at least merit from Bayero University, or any other recognized university.
iii) A First Class or a Second Class degree in non-related areas including a professional qualification in management related areas obtained after passing a qualifying examination .
iv) A PhD from Bayero University Kano or any other recognized university in relevant areas.
v) Any other qualification deemed equivalent to (i), (ii) and (iv) above.
MBA (Special Full-Time and Part-Time)
A candidate seeking admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA) (special programme) must hold:
i) A First Class, a Second Class Upper, or a Second Class Lower in any discipline from Bayero University Kano or any other recognized university.
ii) A masters degree in any discipline from Bayero University, Kano or any other recognized university.
iii) A PhD from Bayero University, Kano or any other recognized university in non-relevant areas.
(iv) A Post-Graduate Diploma in any discipline with a minimum score of merit from Bayero University, Kano or any other recognized university provided the candidate has a degree or an HND certificate.
v) HND with at least a lower credit from a recognized institution and a professional qualification in management related areas obtained after passing a qualifying examination.
vi) Any other qualification deemed equivalent to (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv) above.
MENT Candidates for admission into M.Ent (Regular) should have:
i) A minimum of a good Second Class degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, Banking and Finance, or any related discipline from any recognized university; or
ii) A degree or HND with a minimum of Lower Credit plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship (PGD-Ent) with a minimum of Merit from any recognized university.
iii) A Degree or HND with a minimum of Lower Credit plus University Postgraduate Diploma with a minimum of Merit in the relevant areas from any recognized University.
iv) Candidates for admission into M.Ent (Special) should have a minimum of a good Second Class degree in any discipline from any recognized university.
PGDM
Candidates for admission into PGDM shall possess a Degree in any discipline from any recognized university; or HND with a minimum classification of Lower Credit obtained from recognized institutions.
The candidate is also required to have at least one year of post graduation experience
